My heart and soul have always been with Round Lake. I am proud of the way it was, has progressed to now and is continuing to grow. My family moved here in 1954. When I married my husband Russ, we moved to Round Lake Beach.

I became active with the Round Lake Area Jaycees Women’s Auxiliary and chaired and/or participated in many events to give back to the community. All four of my children attended the Round Lake Area Schools, and seven of my grandchildren are currently attending schools in the district. I have worked on the Cancer Society Bike-A-Thon, Spartan Football and Cheerleading Boosters, PTA, Fine Arts Boosters, Panther Pushers, (a)Member of the Exchange Club, St. Joseph Parish Catechist, Member of the Parish Council, Liturgy Committee, and Bereavement Minister.
