A memorial on the legacy page is created by the following: 

• a donation to the Round Lake Area Education Foundation of $116 or more and, 
• submission of a biography of the deceased highlighting their contributions to District 116.

Donations of $1,116.00 or more are recognized with the 116 logo next to the name of the deceased.  Donations of $11,116.00 or more have the name of the decease Appearing in Blue as well as the 116 logo.

A suggestion of donations to the Round Lake Area Education Foundation  in lieu of flowers in the obituary notice is appreciated. Thank you notes for such donations  will be sent to all donors within 48 hours of receipt, and a list of donors will be sent to the person who creates the memorial within 30 days of receipt.
