Dr. Jeanne Kearby
Retired Public Educator
Jeanne Kearby has been a resident in Round Lake for over 50 years. Dr. Kearby has served on the Grayslake High School Board of Education, Trustee and Clerk for Avon Township. She has also served on civic organizations such as Chair of B.E.S.T. Kindergarten Readiness Committee, and on the Board of Directors for Exchange Club. Currently, she is President of the League of Women Voters of Grayslake, Round Lake and Waukegan. In addition Jeanne serves as Vice President of the League of Women Voters of Illinois.
In the past she has been an elementary, middle school teacher, and High School Curriculum Coordinator for Round Lake Area School District 116. Jeanne retired from Waukegan School District as Executive Director for Pre-k – High School Academic Program in 2012. As always, she is enjoying her three grandchildren and the families of her four children.
